Job Post: Junior lecturer of English in the Department of Foreign Languages

His Magnificence Rector of Opole University announces the competition for a junior

lecturer of English position in the Foreign Languages Centre.

Candidates must fulfill the requirements pursuant to Art. 109 and 114(7) of Higher Education Act of 27 July 2005 (Journal of Laws No. 164, item. 1365, as amended) and Opole University Statute.

An application should include the following documents:

  • letter of application addressed to His Magnificence Rector of Opole University

  • CV, a personal questionnaire, a copy of M.A. certificate

  • certificate of Postgraduate Studies (Translation, Business English, Legal English)

  • list of academic achievements

  • information about educational achievements

  • letter of reference from a previous employer (tertiary education unit)

  • candidate’s declaration that Opole University will be his/her basic place of employment in case of winning the competition

  • candidate’s authorization to process his/her personal data included in his/her application for existing and future recruitment processes in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws, 2002, No. 101, item. 926 with further amendments)

Candidates for the position of junior lecturer are expected to:

  • fulfill the requirements pursuant to Art. 109 and 114(7) of Higher Education Act of 27 July 2005 (Journal of Laws No. 164, item. 1365, as amended) and Opole University Statute

  • hold at least Master’s degree in English Philology

  • specialize in teaching Legal English and Business English

  • have prior university level teaching experience

  • have good knowledge of USOS system and be prepared to work in this system as part of his/her activity
