University of Jyvaskyla in Finland   

The FORTHEM Experiencing Europe and Diversity and Migration Labs have launched winter school 'Belonging and Non-Belonging in Europe'. It takes place on Feb. 21-25 at the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland and covers migrants and European values. 

Students from all alliance partner universities take part in it, and also the sociologists from the University of Opole contribute to the program. Prof. Robert Geisler of the Institute of Political Science and Administration gives the keynote lecture 'European Identity - Stories about Europeanisation' on Monday, 21.02. at 11.15 am, and Dr. Michał Wanke of the Department of Cultural Studies together with Clara Kleininger of the Department of Sociology will conduct a workshop 'Making Sense of Migration Experience With Visual Materials'. Prof. Geisler will also carry out a workshop 'Regionalism and Regional Diversity in the EU/Europe'.

All the lectures are open to public, not only to the registered participants. Due to the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic, the event takes place in the online mode.
